It's sunny today and should to hit 50 degrees later this afternoon but with the gusty wind it's supposed to only feel like the upper 30s. I hope this wind quits later because the recycling goes to the curb this evening for tomorrow morning's pickup and I don't want everything blowing all over the neighborhood.
We have a bumper crop of snowdrops on the front lawn and a patch of them in the back yard. The front yard has white, light purple and darker purple crocuses. Soon the first of the daffodils will open up. So it's looking like early spring. It's supposed to be warming up starting tomorrow and will be warm all week until another cold front hits next weekend. It's supposed to be pretty dry, which we need. Several area rivers are at minor flood stage and a few towns had flooded roads from the weekend rain. So we're still getting area flood warnings.
I'm still waiting to hear back from the repair shop about my car. Monday is a busy day for them so I hope they can get to it today. Ever since the pandemic they've had shorter hours. They used to be open 6 am until 6 pm, but now it's 8 am to 5 pm.
