She had a lot of cute colorful knit Croft and Barrow tops from Kohl's since I was always buying them for her, so anyone can take any they like and the rest will be donated. But it's a bit soon too deal with that. Paperwork sorting and recycling old paperback novels and magazines of hers comes first. Except my one sister wants her fashion magazines and there are some bookazines of hers that are too interesting to part with. We need to make duplicates of the various family photos so everyone has a copy. We had family pictures hanging up at her wake including pictures of her and my dad taken at events they attended decades ago.
I just ran the car briefly yesterday evening and there was a problem with the cooling system. The engine was revving too high and running a bit hot but the heater was only blowing out cold air.
Today was sunny and in the 40s. A lot of the snow is melting. The earliest batch of snowdrops are in bloom. More will pop up in the coming weeks. I took the car to the repair shop. One of the hoses split which is why the cooling system was acting up. It was a simple fix so I got it back pretty quickly. Otherwise I had to deal with a few phone calls this afternoon.
Tomorrow I'll bring the recycling and run to the supermarket. I have to make a decision on which of the local rheumatologists to make an appointment with. I miss my old rheumatologist who was really nice and very pro-physical therapy. But she's now simply too far away. No more office only ten minutes from my house. Plus make an appointment with my primary care doc. I have a nurse case manager from my HMO who told me they will cover one of those sliding bath benches to make it easier and safer for me to get in and out of the bathtub to take a shower, I just need my primary care doc to write the prescription so I can bring to our local medical supply place. My knee and ankle arthritis makes it very difficult to deal with the bathtub these days. The joints are all permanently swollen and are more stiff now. Now I'm having more problems with finger joint swelling as well.
