It got up into the low 70s but we had periods of haze from the Nova Scotia wildfires since the smoke has made its way down here and we have air quality warnings. The air smelled kinda weird for a while in the afternoon. I cut out some vine wisteria in the backyard and gathered some more small branches and twigs that fell when it was windy the other day. The yard waste pail is at the curb for tomorrow's pickup.

Today was the conference call with the social worker, head nurse and the therapists at the nursing home. My mom is doing well and enjoys her PT/OT sessions plus the various social activities they have scheduled everyday. She'll be there for another week or two, then transition back home and back to her regular PT/OT on the other side of town. When I went to visit her she was rather homesick though, but she's doing okay.

After dinner I had to run a couple of errands for my sister and I didn't get home for good until after 10pm, so I'm now watching the 11 pm news.
