It made it up into the low 60s this afternoon. A sun and clouds mix day. We had over four inches of rain fall over the weekend. Last night I noticed a puddle in the basement. Since the backyard is on a slope the rear basement window has a window well and some water was dripping in at the bottom of window and running down the wall to the floor. This is in the unfinished part of the basement where everything is just concrete.

The window well was filled with leaves, dirt, a few roots from weeds, so this afternoon I had to clean the junk out. Since the dirt is wet and compacted I was able to get a lot of the dirt out, but not all of it down to the bottom of the well. I need a good dry spell for the soil to dry out so I can get the rest out. I'll have to measure it and pick up a window well cover at the Home Depot later this week.
