wow the rain last night came down in buckets. my gauge fell over so do not know how much. all the rain buckets i have out  for watering are filled
this morn its 65 when i got up going to 82 and here the weather men said rain today all the way through monday. but no rain showed today,

i was out surveying all my plants and seeds i put in garden yesterday. small plants afraid they would get knocked down but they are looking good. big lakes in the yard

got a pot of turnip greens cooking. wow big turnips. the root was big as a soft ball. all that rain we had really puffed them going to boil  in a separated pot put white sauce over them. i did eat some raw. so good. daughter coming to lunch. have not tasted the butter milk pie i made.got to add to all this..

cleaning morning.. this evening is volunteer at theater its a ballet. nothing i care about but wanted to go so signed up. i was up for 2 more next week but they are right with the plant swap. so had to cancel.  that was a play.
