It's been sunny but cool. Chilly at night so the furnace is still on steadily. Yesterday was a PT/OT day for my mom, plus a trip to the grocery store. They were out of backyard birdseed so I'm planning on stopping at the other local Stop and Shop supermarket tomorrow to see if they have it. My closest Stop and Shop still gets hit with supply chain issues. The second one is close to Kohl's and I'm going to do some online shopping at their site later to pick up tomorrow afternoon. Their self pickup is very convenient.

It's just been a home/housework day for me. I ordered a Pyrex glass casserole dish with cover from Amazon yesterday that's supposed to get here tomorrow. I'm buying more microwave cookware since I'm exclusively using the microwave for making meals.

The old dead stove hasn't been replaced yet because it's an older Kenmore that is a little bit smaller than the standard 30 inch wide stoves of today. The stove is a slide-in, in the middle of a custom built peninsula put together with nails that has extended countertop space on the backside for eating while sitting on stools, not pre-fab modular cabinets that are simply screwed together with a countertop added. The peninsula may have to be cut apart by a carpenter to fit a new stove in. So we're still figuring this out.
