I'm achy and tired today since I had to shovel the snow out in the street yesterday afternoon where the cars are parked in front of the house. It pretty much melted off the sidewalk on its own, but I had to shovel the front porch steps and put down the pet friendly ice melt on the steps and sidewalk since it went below freezing last night and there was a little freezing fog. Today it's in the low 40s so the snow is melting.

With the weather my mom wasn't able to go to PT/OT, but I'm also having problems with them since the business who owns this location is cutting back days and hours and the occupational therapist doesn't seem to want to work a full work day anymore and is becoming snippy and punitive. They're threatening to add penalty fees if you cancel the same day due to the weather or for last minute doctor's appointments which is apparently a common situation among their senior clients with more complicated health issues. Most of the patients at this location are age 70+, so it's a meanspirited thing to add penalty fees. I may have to move my mom to new location with this business or just find a completely different PT/OT company.
