It was sunny today and last night's strong winds finally quit. Temps got up into the mid 40s. Our snowdrops are out and the first of the crocuses are emerging. The idiot neighbors next door had a bunch of crocuses pop up on their lawn and they pulled most of them out. They do the same thing with the African violets when they pop up in April, they treat them like invasive weeds.

It's just been a quiet housework day. The family across the street from us were grilling meat this afternoon in their backyard. It was obviously marinated first and the smell that came wafting across the street into our yard smelled really good. At least one family in the neighborhood has a meat smoker. One day earlier in the week there was the ham-bacony smell in the air again.
