Heidi, do you have racoons or foxes poaching your poor hens?

Today was sunny and in the mid 50s. The last 50+ degree day for a while. It will be seasonable through Thursday, but the bottom will drop out temperature-wise Friday. It's supposed to go below zero overnight Friday into Saturday. I'm probably going to move the tender plants into the basement on Wednesday. I have to get everything errand-wise done by Thursday evening. Friday and Saturday will be awful, dry but bitter with negative wind chills.
