A wet day here. It started off a rain/snow mix but was too mild to stick. Temperatures slowly rose through the 40s throughout the afternoon. Temps are supposed to be in the low 50s overnight then fall back into the mid 40s for the day tomorrow. I got the outdoors tasks done during the rain lull later in the afternoon before the rain returned at dinnertime.

I could hear the heavy rain outside when I was washing the dinner dishes. We have garbage pickup tomorrow morning but I don't want to put the pail out at the curb until the heaviest rain ends, likely around midnight or twelve thirty. We really could use a break from these rainstorms.
