42 this morn. so sun out going to be nice until it starts raining. wonder if any of this rain is getting in the lake.. 2 weeks when i was there it had filled up some

carrying in wood. got ash bucket in got to get some out of the fire place.

been out to feed critters. always hungry. see the something or other dug more holes under my coop. see half grown chicken getting out. so filled up holes again. all sorts of critters back there that i do not know about. had chickens years and years but never been bothered like i am last 2 years

so letter writing morn. only got one letter all last week. so it will get answered. got a few phone calls to be made

puttered in yard yesterday did a bit of sewing. and reading a great book.
