A chilly rain has been falling since the early afternoon. This is the beginning of the nor'easter which will give us wind and heavy rain overnight tonight.

We need a new hot water heater. A plumber came by yesterday to give a written estimate but seemed to be padding the bill. I called another plumber this afternoon and he does over the phone estimates and gave a ballpark figure that is lower than the first. I'm waiting to hear back from a third plumber for an estimate.
