63 right now going to 87 as was yesterday. but not humid so okay. wash out on line. will dry fas as so dry.  i been watering  every few days..

yesterday on face book was chestnuts home grown never seen these before  . the ones you buy at store all from over seas and most rotten. so i get a bag full. had them cooking daughter calls she said she bought me chestnuts.. will have enough to last all year huh> we had a good laugh.

got collards cooking with  seasoned  meat. i do not like collards but daughter does. hubby liked too.  got to go in garden and find sweet potatoes and dig up some to all to pot.

made a apple nut cake yesterday this is todays dessert for when daughter comes for lunch. while i was busy peeling  i got all the pears and peeled them and made preserves. had some on my waffles this morning.started out with a big pot full  they really cooked down.
