Rhea was a really big running shtg. dog but I turned her into a house pet. She loved to be petted! Rhea whelped her first litter in my dining room closet. I had a whelping box all set up for her (with a heated center) but Rhea had a mind of her own and she wanted in that closet. So that's where she whelped. After a couple of days I moved the pups to that box; she was OK with that but she wanted to whelp where she wanted to whelp! PERIOD!
