Then I got a Missouri Fox Trotter and that ended the walking horses, I just wanted Foxtrotters from then on. Harry
My first experience with a Foxtrotter was a time when I was judging in Canada and they put me on one. He was a stout gray, 16 hands or so and smooth as silk. And tough, would go all day. I tried to buy him but they just laughed at me so I went home and found one. I never bought another walking horse after that. When I lived in VA, I would go up to Glenville and George would drive me around in his half ton and Mike or Jeanette would handle the dogs.
If I wanted to ride, I kept a Foxtrotter there for years. George would also carry him to trials for me. Them Tracys are full service dog trainers! :-)
