You are mostly correct, Harry. I don't think a kudgr has the discretion to order a dog up kust because it isn't competitive or even for a breach of manners. Just for interferingwith a bracemate.
If you're a handler and a judge tells you to pick your dog up, you're going to say what? "No, I won't. He's not interfering with his bracemate." Good luck with that. Not only will that dog not place, let's hope that's the only dog you're running! If I was judging, I would try to help you understand that there's a time in a trial to keep your mouth shut and do what you're told. Harry
