I agree. We had alot of rain in California this winter and the birds are all paired off. I am hopeful for a good hatch and plenty of young wild birds. Have two pups ready for it all and on 1st year dog that needs some polishing.

I saw a real nice covey of Quail this morning. There were at least 12 of big strong full-grown birds in total. We are hearing calls late and early and this early hatch is great news. Might be a great year to start a young pup or two.
