Sounds as good as any. My uncle would look for a strong friendly puppy. I sometimes look at an independent puppy that isn't too worried about being in your lap or coming too quick. Er Shelley said wait until they were 9 or 10 months old. That is the best way, but not always doable. I'd say Harry has the best idea, take two or even three, grow them out, and pick the best one to go on with. Previous Message

"T Jack Robinson had a system to pick pups that I had never seen. He said to just hand me a pup which he never looked at. We went though the litter twice and said let me feel number three pup again and said that's the one I want. He said just feel the electricity in that puppy you better bet he will run."
I'll have to try that as I like a running dog! Harry
I must admit even I could feel extra strength in that pup.
