: You can judge my dogs any time and any where.

: After judging for a couple of years, I
: changed my judging philosophy. At first, I
: was a "clean" judge - when a dog
: made a mistake, I eliminated it. Finally I
: realized that while I always placed clean
: dogs, sometimes I did not place the
: "best" dog.
Thanks! I believe that change made me a lot better judge. And I guess some others agreed as I started getting invited to judge some championships. (Or maybe it was because I never took any travel money.
I remember judging once with my old pal Bob Reed. The next year, Bob was invited back but I wasn't. I told everyone that "They thought it was me that screwed up last year so they invited Bobbo back. Then they found out who really screwed the pooch!"
