LOTS of birds in south Georgia this year and I had a chance to work a dog one morning and found that birds were just starting to pair up. Heard others says the coveys were getting smaller as the pairs snuck away to set up housekeeping.
Thanks to Rick Furney and John Neeley for helping arrange some business for my female down there.
One other item of note: To the idiots operating the Arkansas Dept of Transportation. You might want to familiarize yourselves with snowplows, sand and salt prior to next winter. They can be very useful during periods of winter weather. When you do nothing, all transportation stops or crawls.
Driving at 70 MPH in TN before arriving in AR on I-40 and I-55 to come to a near complete halt. Spending four hours in what should have been an hour drive total in AR. Then crawling at 5 MPH across the line into MO and finding I-55 completely clear and traffic back at 70 MPH does make one wonder what you were thinking.
I hope the trucking companies bring you to court as I looked at 14 miles of trucks back to back to back to....coming south into AR. You all should be proud! Maybe you were trying to emulate Atlanta?
