This month our book is The Martian. Did anyone see the movie with Matt Damien? I didn't see the movie but I'm really enjoying the book. I'm a sci-fi fan anyway but this one would appeal to just about anybody. This guy is stranded on Mars after a mission was aborted because of a horrific sand storm. The crew thinks he's dead and leaves him behind. It's how he's surviving and what he does to improvise and make all the equipment work for him. The equipment was all sent prior to the astronauts lift-off so everything would be there before they land. NASA discovers he's alive and he found a way to communicate after he realizes they know he's alive.
