I love stories like this. Of course there were many other children's songs. I sang a lot of them to my children and grandchildren like,

As I woke up one morning I gazed upon the wall...
Playmate. Come out and play with me...
My Mommy told me, if I be goodie...
These were before my time but I learned them from old recordings or the radio.
