I like the words to that old song.
I should have added --the Little Brown Church in the Wildwood to MY list. We all knw that one as we lived in the little town Nashua Iowa where that church is built. Its an interesting story how the song came about. A man passing through saw the little wooded spot & begin to write the song. No church there then. Later a church happened to be built ight there & the only paint they had available was brown so----. Now its a tourist attraction because of the song. Hundreds marry there every yr
Many people I have met know the song but have no idea there is a REAL church.
