It means exactly what it says. Looking for someone to compliment you in some way or another. I'm the opposite. I hate it when being complimented. In a way I guess I feel I don't deserve it. I guess that can be just as bad as "fishing". Wait a minute...I do like it when being complimented on my knitting.
