My BP was 124/72 which is good. Since I have lost so much weight I do not have to take BP meds anymore. I haven't taken them for about 6 months or more and my BP is staying in the normal range. I have lost 7 more pounds since I last seen him. He was happy about that and told me to keep doing what I am doing as it is working. He wants me to have a diagnostic mammogram. I haven't had one of those before. I have only had the regular mammo's. He also wants me to have a colonoscopy. Yikes! Not looking forward to that at all! :-(
I saw my blood work results online last night and my A1C is 4.8 which is awesome! My Dr's notes said everything was in the normal range and I had good blood sugar control. So it was good to know at least from my lab work that nothing serious is going on with me. Just wish I knew why I am so overly tired most of the time. I was ready to drop by the time I got home that day. I stopped to drive through the car wash. That's a whole "nuther" story and I'll tell you about that horrible incident later after I rest up some more.
I also had to go to Rite Aid to pick up my new pain med. It was torture getting into the store and over to the pharmacy but I made it. After a 20-30 minutes wait I got my meds and shuffled out of there. It was when I got back to my car that I noticed what had happened in the car wash... to be continued. I was very glad to get home, get comfy, take an anxiety pill and rest.
One more thing, then I am going to have to rest. I get worn out just typing but I like to get it all done at one time then I can relax. Ok now for the one more thing...
I have never told anyone in our group how much I weigh and I don't know if anyone suspected I was a very big girl at one time, but I was! I am happy and proud to say I am down almost 100 pounds since last year! I did it on my own by making my own healthy eating plan of foods I enjoy eating. This is how I have been able to stick with my plan and keep dropping more pounds. All the food I eat for the most part is healthy, but it's healthy food I like to eat!
I go off my plan occasionally when my niece Sherry and I go out to lunch. Then I get right back on my plan with the next meal. I still have a ways to go, but I will reach my healthy goal. It's not really about the number on the scale, it's about feeling more healthy and being able to walk better. I am still doing 180 minutes of pedal exercise everyday, 7 days a week. Even though I am worn out most of the time, I make myself do it as I know eventually it is going to make my legs stronger. I'm staying positive and I know better times are heading my way. PMA!
I hope you are all well and happy. I'll be back as soon as I am able to post more. Have a nice evening. (((Hugs))) ♡~Lori
(Sorry for the extremely long post. I wanted to catch you up on what is going on with me as much as I can right now.)
