My town right now is haveing an Art sculpture event in the park. They haul in quite a few enerys
--at night theres music & food ect. Yesterday we drove past & could see most of the sculptures from our car. There was also a street painting event a few days ago--prizes for some of that. Some painting on sidewalks also.
A nearby town has Watermelon Days every yr in July. Been going on 50 yrs. Free watermelon--a parade--music & other entertainment--a little princess contest for little girls. Always a big crowd. Its held in a very small town. Our small town Fairs are on around this area also in July & Aug.
