Joyce I am glad to see you posting. I have left kitty for a week or so at a time--my daughter would come in & feed her & change litter. Cats of course can manage on thier own awhile. Once in CA we left
our dog with the neighbors who the dog knew well. He was fine but when we came home from a 2 week visit to Iowa--we got no warm welcome HA He ignored us & acted like he now belonged to the neighbors !! Took sev days before he liked us again
