The recent death of a boxing legend --brought this Q to my mind.
I was never interested in boxing until I married my late husband. He had boxed as a young man & wanted to turn pro but his Mom & wife threw a fit about that idea ! So he settled for being a big fan. So I watched lots of boxing with him on Tv. I actually began to get interested after some time. One of my son in laws was pretty good at boxing & turned pro for a short time but he was really too old when he started as a pro. So over the yrs boxing was part of my interests at times.
