No lottery here in Utah and there never will be from what I understand. It's a shame that all the money that people spend in in neighboring states to play the lottery and other types of gambling cannot be spent here. The revenue from lottery tickets and casinos would help out so much here but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

I don't enter contests like PCH. They drive me crazy with all the emails and snail mails they send. I fell for it when I was younger but finally realized I probably would not ever win. Also, it seemed they always had a catch such as subscribing to magazines or some other way to get money from people who just wanted to enter the contest. If I remember right, they used to have different envelopes for those who purchased something and those who did not purchase. I'm sure the non-purchasers entries went straight into the circular file!
