Joyce, I am so sorry you are having such bad pain my friend. I do understand and know how miserable it can be to not be able to walk far. I had a series of injections (similar to SYNVISC) in my knees several years ago and they helped very little if at all.

I had cortisone injections prior to that and they were hit and miss as to whether they helped or not. Sometimes I would get 2 weeks of pain relief and other times a day or less. I finally decided it was not worth it for the little tiny bit of relief I had that didn't last. The shots were very painful when they injected the medicine into my knees.

I'm not trying to scare you. Just being honest. I hope and pray your injections will be your magic pill that will give you permanent relief. I have friends who have had one injection and never needed another one. I hope it works that way for you.

So glad you had such a good time with your daughter. I'm sure she will be back to see you as soon as she can.☻
