I was fourteen. He was 22. I was completely smitten and he was courting like all get out. But my folks kept a close eye on the situation (he worked for my dad-=) so when he told me to get ready, he'd take me away on June fifth...my little heart went giddy. A cousin clued me in around June 1rst that Pat was heavy dating my Dad's best friend's daughter in the next town...and she was pregnant! I was crushed. Thank God it was just hand-holding and kisses (thanks Mom and Dad--) or I may have ended up like that gal. They divorced in less than two years, and he was back on my door step...I put him on the go~

He's still alive OLD,,,and married to his cousin who is his third wife. Second one gave him six kids, he stayed with her til the last one graduated then he left her for the little gal who was their babysitter, and ten years younger than the second wife. What a loser!
