Yes, I do want to skip watching the news because there seems to always be so much more bad news than good news. I only watch the news occasionally at noon when my friend and caregiver is here.

I really wish the news stations would talk about all the good things people do for each other and anything else good that happens. It seems like "good news" just doesn't "sell" as well as bad/sad news. It's a real shame that money is more important than awesome good news stories...
