Speaking of friends--I have outlived so many of mine--its kind of depressing. I had two girl friends (we were close & never lost touch) from High School. Both died within 3 mo of each other last year. I have made friends since I moved back to Iowa from many yrs in CA--but even some of those new friends have died. Its my age of course--at 80 yrs --its bound to happen.
