Joyce--when I lived in CA--I never did get to Disneyland but did go to Magic Mountain. I lived over 20 yrs in Bakersfield CA--not too far from LA
When I moved there--from a very tiny Iowa town--it was quite a culture shock!! However I enjoyed many experiences there that Iowa did not offer. I raided my younger girl there from about the age of 8. I still have CA friends from that area that I hear from . But after my 3rd husband died I moved back to my roots--Iowa (my youngest had moved back here by then too) so it was time to come home --even to the snow !!
