a book about Catherine the Great - Portrait of a Woman by Robert K. Massie. It's for my book club for May. I didn't think I'd enjoy it but it's been hard to put down. It's rather large but I'm already half finished. I'm glad for the book club because I'm reading books I never would chose to read otherwise.
