My weekends are pretty much as yours, Shirley. When I was little, weekends were free to roam around barefoot playing with friends. I always got my hair washed and curled on Sunday night. I remember grocery shopping with the parents.

With me raising my girls weekends were always busy with cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping for the week and getting the girls and myself ready for the coming week. We'd plan on day trips to Disneyland, Magic Mountain (6 Flags), Santa Anita Race Track or other things we could drive too from our house.

Now it's just another blah couple of days as I can get most things done during the week. If I have company then it's a different story.
