I don't remember anything other than exchange students when I was in school. In grade school we had a few field trips. My oldest daughter saved and when on a trip to NY with her drama group, if I remember correctly. Daughter #3 went, with her band and pageantry, when she was in the 10th grade, to England and Scotland. Daughter #4 went to Hawaii with her band and pageantry. Each trip there was a year to pay for it, which was good.
