As for more recent movies Tv ect----I am intrigued by the man who is supposed to be the Sheriff in the series Tv (on WGN) The Outsiders--beause at first he was a hooked on perscription drugs--haedly able to do anything right --then had a near death experience--cleaned up & started trying hard to do his job. The situatiuon of what was going on in his area made the job almost impossible but suddenly he had heart & courage & a moral obligation & chaned hid whole attitude.
Then theres the gal Brooke on the Bold & Beautiful soap. If she was real--I want to meet her--slap some sense into her & say grow up & quit the impossible love triangles for once. Dont you ever learn from experience ?
And from the good old past I like Scarlet in Gone With the Wind--cause she just keeps expecting a better day to come round. No matter what goes on around her & gee she did make Clark Gable say Damn--back in the day when you did not cuss in movies.
