We always had a pet when I was growing up. I had cats and there was always a dog. They weren't allowed in the house and we didn't have any fenced yard. They'd wander off but always come home. As an adult we had dogs and cats but my oldest daughter was allergic to cats so we ended up having to give them up. The only dogs that were actually MY dogs were Maya and now Spencer. The others were family dogs but these two - MINE.
