Now I'm just the opposite. I'm not good at crafts but OK knitting and crochet although I prefer to knit. I learned to sew very early with a miniature Singer Sewing Machine. Then on to my mom's Singer then I took sewing from 7th grade and the last class was as a junior in high school. With four daughters I sewed a lot. I just recently gave daughter #3 the sewing machine her paternal grandmother gave me. It was an old White electric. It was converted to electric but the instruction booklet was for a treadle machine. I used that machine all the time. The last time I used it was to sew-up a hem on a door curtain when I moved up here in '09.
