We are sons and daughters of the KING. Scriptural references tell us this. In our hearts, once we've been Born Again in Jesus Christ, we feel His love and KNOW we are His children.

'Ye are gods, children of the most High' Ps. 82:6;
We are the offspring of God:Acts 17:29;
Be in subjection unto the Father of spirits:Heb. 12:9;
I am a son of God:Moses 1:13
As many as received him gave he power to become the sons of God:John 1:12; ( Rom. 8:14
‘Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.’ ‘I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty’” (2 Corinthians 6:17-18).
Imagine the extent of God’s love for us—that He should want to make us His sons and daughters!

The Bible reveals that God’s ultimate objective is to expand His own family, by creating human beings with the awesome potential to become members of His family—His children!

The apostles understood this. John tells us, “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!” (1 John 3:1). Paul concurs, “Walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory” (1 Thessalonians 2:12).

God wants us to be His sons and daughters

God created everyone with free moral agency, the ability to choose. He wants us to choose the way that brings benefits to us and those around us—the way that develops His righteous character. He does not want us to choose the way that makes us and those around us miserable. So God will not accept anyone into His family who may decide he or she no longer needs to obey God, and who may choose to go his or her own way.

“Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind” (Luke 10:27).
“If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15).
Our Heavenly Father
We bow at thy feet and ask our humble supplications. We sing praises to Thee and give thanks for all thou hast sent to us. We enjoy the fruits of the Atonement..and thank thee for sending Jesus to pay our way back to Thee.

We'd ask for healing. We'd ask for protection from temptation and evil. We would ask for the chance to thank you for the very breath we breathe.

And we ask these favors and blessings in the name of our precious Savior, Jesus Christ.
