I used to be a night owl by choice. I just preferred being up almost all night and going to bed between 4am and 6am. Sometimes I didn't get into bed until 8am! As my health issues became worse, I realized I needed to get on a more normal sleeping pattern.
I started with going to bed at 1am. I took Melatonin to make sure I would go to sleep. Then I just kept making the time I went to bed earlier and earlier and finally was gong to bed at 10pm. I would wake up a 2-3 times a night (BR Trips) and usually get up for the day between 6am and 7am. I did feel much better overall by having a better sleeping pattern.
Since I moved in here, my sleeping time changed a bit. I still tried for a 10pm bedtime but sometimes didn't make it until 10:30 or 11pm. Since the time went forward an hour, I have been all messed up on my bedtime. It's been after 11pm almost every night since the time changed.
Sometimes I find myself up until almost 1am! I do not want to get back in that habit, so I am doing what I can to get myself back to the 10pm bedtime. I have a feeling it's going to take a while to get there, but I will get back on schedule in time. PMA!
