This building was peaceful and quiet when I first moved in. There were only a few people living here at the time. They had just finished building it a a week or so before I moved in. Now it's a different story...

There are people right above my apartment who make noise all day and half of the night. They are constantly going in and out of the building too. Every time they go up or down the stairs, that door slams hard and LOUD! Being sensitive to loud noises, I about jump out of my skin every time it slams Shut.

Also, the are constantly pounding on something and it sounds like they move their furniture around every day! These buildings are not soundproof at all. I can hear their washer running for hours almost every night. They do not control their children who are also very loud and constantly yelling and running up and down the stairs. I know children need to be able to play and have fun, but these children are not being watched. Their parents don't seem to care how much noise they make.

The people upstairs and the people in the first apartment on this floor (and maybe some others) have parties almost every weekend. Loud music, hollering etc and it goes on til 3 or 4am! I'm pretty sure alcohol is involved as they all sound like they are drunk! It gets really annoying.😣

Then there is the gal down the hall. She is in a wheelchair and has been all of her life. She came to introduce herself shortly after I moved in. I think she and her hubby and baby moved in around the same time. She is very nice, but also very LOUD! She does her visiting with others in the building, out in the HALL. She is just down the hall from me. I hear her talking to her baby and other adults and laughing as she sits out there. I don't understand why she does her visiting in the hall and not in her apartment or the apartment of whoever she is visiting with?

When she came here, she did come in. She has only been here that one time. She may have been offended by the little Do Not Disturb sign I have on my door. It's for solicitors and also lets UPS, FedEx and USPS know to leave my packages at my door. I don't want them ringing my door bell as it is very LOUD! My family and friends know the sign is not for them and they are welcome to visit me anytime. They also know it will take me a few minutes to get to the door.
