Come on, Granite City Leaders, the largest natural lake in Illinois that's not named Michigan is HORSESHOE LAKE.

It's time to call it Lake Granite.

Of course once you go east, some may want to call it Lake Pontoon and those who live south of Granite City could recognize it as Lake Madison.

Lord knows Edwardsville would try to Annex that too.
