Initially I wanted the Knicks to win, but after watching that trash mayor look the other way while Knicks fans acted like animals, I wouldn't mind the Spurs winning three straight.

I watched video of these uncivilized fools attacking people wearing Spurs jerseys, and in particular one fifty something year old black male. They destroyed property and just genuinely acted like what most people should have expected them to act like. Lets hope San Antonio fans choose not to retaliate.

Is it wise wearing a Spurs jersey in NY during the NBA finals? Well obviously not, but you should still be able to without feeling that you will have to fight your way out of the Building and to your hotel.

Good move Bears, getting out of that cesspool of a city in this wretched state. Indiana is obviously an upgrade.

I would be willing to wager that 90% of the ones taking to the streets and destroying property and assaulting Spurs don't even give a damn about the Knicks. Its simply an opportunity to act in a manner that they are quite comfortable with. They know the new mayor doesn't care and that the police will function in a reactive mode.

No matter how hard he tries, slapping the Trump name on everything is not going to improve his legacy. It only accentuates what a failure he is as a leader. He has shit for taste and his various unnecessary and costly renovation projects are a slap in the face to ordinary citizens dealing with paying bills. Want to buy a "gold" coin to celebrate the US 250th birthday... Trump's sons are selling them for only between $250 and $12,000 complete with Trump's face on the coin.

Interesting how the typical pro MAGA folks on this board have been very quiet lately.

Now I need to turn on the news and find out if it's Deal or No Deal today for this seemingly endless war of choice.

I suppose I should have known this would morph into Trump bad somehow. I fight conservatives every single day over the irresponsible back and forth going on with Iran. The other day I was promoting to twenty fifth amendment Trump's ass. Can you even imagine a scenario that any of you Democrats would even jokingly say such a thing with Golden Boy Obama or the Auto Pen Guy? No, of course not. Unlike most lefties however, I do not hope for a bad outcome just so I can trash Trump more. Also, lets not pretend that if Trump had finished the job 6 weeks ago that you would have supported that, because that is pure fantasy.

Trumps appeal for me was that he was not Kamala Harris, if that makes me a Trumper, I must be a Trumper. For the ten millionth time, I hate Democrats much more than I like any Republican, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I would happily vote for Trump again over any Democrat.

Okay Drama Queen, New York was hardly "destroyed". It's pretty stupid when fans get out of control celebrating and start tearing stuff up, but all reports today is that 63 people were arrested and the streets are clean as they prepare for the first ever ticker tape parade for the Knicks on Thursday.

A total disregard for the police.

I saw dozens of videos, busses destroyed, taxis destroyed, police cars destroyed, cops assaulted. You can downplay it of you want. 600 could have been arrested and it wouldn't have been enough. The police were very subdued, as I am sure they were ordered to be.

Did you get this outraged over the Jan 6 riots?

Out of control revelers, who should be held accountable for any property damage or injuries, seems like a picnic compared to an attack on Democracy precipitated by the big lie initiated by Trump and drilled into the heads of his loyal followers.

They were held accountable and then, by the Grace of King Trump, let off the hook... and, if he has his way, they'll be compensated for their loyalty.
