In 2015, President Obama awarded Tom Homan the Presidential Rank Award as a Distinguished Executive for his work in immigration enforcement. Homan was recognized for his effectiveness in deporting individuals during his tenure with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency.

Aftermath & Controversy: Investigation Closed: After Trump's re-election, the Trump-Vance administration's DOJ closed the investigation, citing no "credible evidence of any criminal wrongdoing," according to a statement from FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.
