Millions of people bad mouth Trump everyday and usually have very good reason. I 100 percent agree with Reiner's assessment of Trump and again, so do millions of people.

Trump can dish it out, but can't take it. Reporters are called stupid, ugly, piggy simply for doing their job.

It's sad you and Joe can see Trump for who he is and defend his inhumanity.

No, the obvious point you’re missing is the crystal clear hypocrisy of this entire tirade you and the liberal loonies out there are pushing.

Reiner spent 10 plus years spewing ruthless presumptions about Trump and then Trump, when questioned, actually responded truthfully, instead of feigning mock sympathy, which your side has mastered.

PS, I don’t care if you were in agreement. Reiner’s words after the death of Russ Limbaugh was despicable, but not nare a word from your mouth.

Blu - funny, I don't recall you posting anything about Reiner's comments on Lindbaugh's death...

You wanna talk about hypocrisy? How about the reaction to the tragic death of Charlie Kirk.. I don't recall a single politician or anyone in the public eye posting anything negative about his death. There were everyday folks who did and it was shameful and they paid the price.

In the days after the shooting, various people—including teachers, firefighters, and members of the military and U.S. Secret Service were fired from their jobs for social media posts that celebrated Kirk's assassination or were seen as disparaging of his legacy.

I'm sure you were okay with that.

There is no "what about ism here".. this was a hateful, thoughtless post by the President of the United States.

Your unwavering allegiance to this poor excuse for a human being is what's despicable.

You are who you are, own it, celebrate your hatred for anyone who criticizes Trump. It comes as no surprise.

Reiner trashed MAGA on twitter blaming them when he left the site. He trashed Limbaugh and he trashed Trump every opportunity that he could. But the loons want to paint Meathead as a a choir boy and we should all just accept that. Trump does seem to want to make everything about him, but these liberals also find away to make everything about him. Of course with the exception if giving him credit for anything.

I will take this moment on behalf of the leftists in here that are too shy to give Trump a big thumbs up for the streel mill jobs he is opening up here and in Pennsylvania. With Christmas and everything else I am MG and others just haven't had a chance to salute him.

Trump didn't become a racist until June 16, 2015. What changed I wonder?

Reiner actually said, he hated Trump.

Trump's thoughtless, self centered, hateful post about Reiner isn't a shock, but it doesn't hurt Rob Reiner or his wife. They are dead. They are survived by three children who are living with the horrible tragedy of having their parents murdered at the hands of their brother. A compassionate person would offer condolences or say nothing. Trump is an embarrassment to the United States.

His post was denounced by sane, caring people regardless of their political affiliations.

Then there are those that try to justify his post by deflecting and offering up examples of Reiner criticizing Trump and others.

We know where you and Joe fit in. Enough said.

There is one difference.

I read what Reiner said about Limbaugh.

I actually had some respect for Rush. Even though he ushered in an era of hate radio, he at least had talent and an entertaining schtick. I could disagree with him profoundly and find him entertaining.

That say, it was classless of Reiner.

Reiner was never the President of the United States.

Maybe he could be a jagoff at times too, but he never had the power to make decisions that affect my life.

That to me is the difference. He speaks on behalf of more than Donald Trump, but on behalf of the nation. The sick narcissist can't differentiate the difference.

As usual. Barking up the wrong tree. I gave him tribute, we all loved the meathead character and several of his films were my favorites .. which I already mentioned in another thread.

I’ll let people who knew him personally make tributes because I didn’t know him at all or to make judgement. I know I vehemently disagreed with his political garbage, but loved watching his movies. So there you go, that’s all I’ve got.

It's just civilians anonymously doing their first amendment thing over a keyboard. It may be rife with condescension to those who believe that Trump is actually anything more than a clown show, and is a legitimate leader. Perhaps it's to expose the hypocrisy of those who would compromise their values to still accommodate Trumpism, no matter how low it sinks...
