Can anyone point out what Kimmel said specifically about Charlie Kirk was hateful or grounds for what ABC has done? I have never watched Kimmel's show, I've seen him host some award shows, but I know he is a comedian who is not a fan of Trumps - hint -that part is the problem. Criticize Trump publicly, you will pay.

Kimmel never said the killer was MAGA, but pointed out that some of MAGA were desperate to point out that he was anything BUT MAGA-- he then went on the make fun of Trump's response to a question from a reporter about how Trump was doing after losing his close friend. Trumps response was "I think very good, and by the way have you seen the construction taking place on the new ballroom"

Kimmel made fun of Trump, period, nothing was said about Kirk, yet Trump mentioned "the horrible thing that Kimmel said about Charlie Kirk.

Trump had his handpicked head of the FCC, Carr, pressure ABC/Disney into punishing Kimmel. Carr has also stated, "we aren't done yet"

Contrast all this to Fox host Brian Kilmeade's recent call to execute mentally ill homeless people .. "just kill 'em" Look it up, google the clip.

Charlie Kirk himself made the point that even hate speech is free speech and is protected.

Trump is using his control of everything to stifle anyone who is critical of him.

If that doesn't alarm you, it should. I used to say all the time to folks.. well, that will never happen, not in America. I can't say that any more.

I have never watched Kimmel either. I have seen the tapes of him speaking the so called remarks about Kirk. There was nothing offensive what so ever said about Charlie Kirk.

After Cobares show was canceled Trump said that Kimmmel would be next.

He has threatened journalist often in the past few weeks.

There is no doubt that Trump and many of his MAGA do not care about the Constitution or their oath to uphold it.

Carr is one of the writers of Project 2025. Controlling the media is a part of the gold.

It is happening. Every American who still wants to be governed by the Constitution and not a dictator should be outraged by this administrations power grab and bold move toward dictatorship.

An honest leftist, if you could find one would know that they created the climate that got Charlie Kirk assassinated. They are still trying to get Trump and probably eventually will succeed. Taking Kirk out of the mix is a pretty good consolation prize for the time being however.
Some of these people went through the motions of saying we need to dial things down, but that was just because they wanted a temporary shield to hide their own guilt. They soon sought out a martyr and found one with of all people Jimmy Kimmel, so they can now chill and get back to calling MAGA, Fascist and Nazis.

Where were these people when Zuck and other leftist CEOS in unison pushed the Biden Government line on Covid and virtually shut down any opposing voices on vaccines, (gene therapies) and mandates. That wasn't fascism I suppose right MG? No, of course not, that was A Okay. Not a peep from these frauds.

Where were these free speech lovers when Bill O'Reilly, Tucker, Roseanne, Gina Carano and others got the boot?? Kimmel had a field day when Tucker and Roseanne got ousted, he went on about it on his little show damn near every night. It was a whole different ballgame then wasn't it???? Of course.

Charlie Kirk was a huge proponent of free speech, Donald Trump is not.

I don't know of a single person who is "ok" with Kirk being assassinated. If the left had someone that was the equal of Charlie Kirk and just as effective I would get over it in about two seconds if someone took that person out. I wouldn't celebrate it, unless perhaps it was one of those View bitches. I'm selfish and I would be more concerned with conservatives taking a hit than I would the person getting whacked. Its a shame really but a hell of a lot of people on both sides feel the exact same way, and I am not normally a both sides person. Don't even pretend the left wouldn't have a field day with that scenario because they would milk it for all that they could. Trump sent his FCC puppet to threaten ABC/Disney and it really had little to do with Charlie Kirk's killing. It's all about criticizing and making fun of an insecure little man. Trump waits for any excuse he can find to retaliate against those who disagree with him politically.

You can try to muddy the waters all you want Joe, it doesn't fly.

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr warned ABC it needed to "take actions on Kimmel" ... or else the government would get involved. That was the problem, that was the government threatening to pull their license... all at the direction of Donald Trump. Silence anyone critical of Trump. What's ironic is Kirk would likely have supported Kimmel's right to his comments... which, by the way, for the umpteenth time where in no way disparaging to Kirk.

The silver lining in all of this is that it's really gonna piss baby boy Trump off big time. Snowflake.

Charlie Kirk was a very odd Fascist, allowing those who disagreed with him to cut into the front of the line to confront him. And now we see Trump being quite an unusual Nazi, firing a late night Democrat political hack and then allowing him to come back in just a few days.

Very strange indeed.

He may apologize even though he has nothing to apologize for. I could see him directing any apology to Kirk's family in the event it caused them any added pain. Once again, the entire bit was directed at Trump, making fun of his response to a reporter's question.

Isn't it interesting that the Fox News host suggests killing homeless, mentally ill folks via lethal injection and no one on the Right blinks an eye?
