Trump has stated he will introduce an Executive Order banning mail in ballots... Nationwide. Possibly just another Epstein Files distraction, but, despite ZERO evidence of widespread voter fraud, he's looking for any possible advantage. Unconstitutional so doubtful it will actually happen.

He also said today that Putin told him that there is no way to have a fair elections with mail in voting. Putin told him about fair elections.... Putin.

We typically always vote by mail.. it makes sense and makes it easier to make an informed decision. You get your ballot well ahead of the election and have the opportunity to research all of the choices for office.

There are many elderly and disabled people who can't reliably get to the polls... I guess he figures they are all Democrats.

If you're younger, have jobs, and kids, time is limited.

When is Bondi going to stop lying and release those files?

Trump is taking advice on an election from Putin...

Executive Order can not change the Constitution...at least so far it can not.

Trump will try anything he can to cheat to win elections... that is why he insist that there is election fraud on a large scale (without any proof at all) .he seems to think everyone is as dishonest as he is..

Mail in voting and early voting allow many more people the chance to vote..

Trump seems to think that all the mail in votes are from Democrats which is not true. GOP also use mail in or early voting..

Trump is not at all smart and it is amazing how many people he fools with his lies..

Joe Smith - that's no surprise, another Judge already blocked this and the law is clear that Grand Jury transcripts cannot be released. It's illegal and the DOJ and Trump know this.

This was all a diversion. What can be released, and was previously promised to be released were the DOJ Files. That's what the American people want and MAGA folks were demanding it.

Why are Bondi and Trump now refusing to release?

Nothing fringe about making sure every registered voter is able to cast their vote. In addition to people who are not able to make it to the polls, what is wrong with making it convenient for people?

The "justification" for eliminating mail in voting is not supported by facts.

Trump seems to flip flop on this issue depending on what he wants and needs during any given election.

That is why we have polling stations, judges and poll watchers.

Communities offer mobile units - way more cost effective than postage rates.

BTW - do you get proof of delivery and a signature of receipt with mail in? Are you conscientious enough to inquire?

Here's a fact for ya:

More convenient to have it all mailed to you. What do you have against the elderly, disabled, those without transportation.

Voting by mail is not required, if it's not for you, don't do it. If you already are fortunate to have the option by mail, why should it be taken from you.... especially when it's at the whim of the President who is only for it, if he thinks it will benefit him?

Trump uses mail in ballots as well.

Open your mail in ballot, fill it out, include your signature, stuff it and then make sure it’s mailed before deadline.

Polls open with a rooster’s crow in the morning and close at 7pm.

Yet, you … or anyone else without physical limitations, can not find 15 to 20 minutes to drive to your local polling station.

So what Blu? St. Clair County does, Madison County has a phone number you can call. No valid reason to eliminate it.

Yes, Mrs. Soccer and I could and would find time to go vote in person. Why should we if we don't have to? We renew our driver's license via mail too.

There is NO validation for universal mail in voting, none, zero unless you prefer a void of civic responsibility and community engagement, in exchange for no oversight, logistical challenges, counting delays, voter disenfranchisement, opportunities for ballot harvesting, risking security and opening the door for full scale voter fraud, not to mention a massive increase in cost

There is only (1) County in the state of Illinois that does and it is MaCoupin County.

You may have read it, but you read it wrong. I said in St Clair County you can check online, in Madison County you call a phone number to check.

I also never said I wanted "universal mail in voting"... it's up to the states and counties.

What I don't want is for Trump to issue an executive order to ban mail in voting everywhere, in every state.
