Numerous officials in the Trump administration refused subpoenas or requests for information from Congress during their time in office.
Here's a breakdown of the resistance encountered:
Executive Branch Agencies: At least 17 departments and agencies reportedly resisted congressional requests for information, obstructing at least 74 investigations and inquiries.
Officials Defying Subpoenas: During the first impeachment inquiry, 12 top administration officials refused to testify, with 10 of them defying subpoenas.
Withheld Documents: The White House and various agencies, including the Department of State and Department of Defense, failed to produce a single document in response to over 70 requests or demands for records.

Joe - I made a fair point in response to Blu, pleading the fifth is far better than ignoring the law and refusing to even appear.

I don't know Bob, probably, because Joe does that all the time.

I'm not defending pleading the Fifth, but it is a legal option to do so and it's been done many times by both sides.

Ignoring the law and refusing to even appear before Congress is not legal and is a step far below pleading the Fifth.

Pleading the fifth was not ever and issue when MAGA did it...so again, why is that an issue now?
